Memebox is a Korean beauty and skincare platform that teachers users about k-beauty products. Memebox also carries their own private label brands: I'm Meme, Pony Effect, Nooni and I Dew Care. I came to Memebox at an interesting time where I had the opportunity to help develop their overall brand voice and esthetic for the US market.
I worked closely with the team and a brand strategist, to not only re-brand Memebox, but to also help build awareness around their private label brands. My time with Memebox was primarily focused on visual content and story telling, strategy, branding, packaging re-design and launching their private label brands in U.S. retail stores.
I Dew Care is one of Memebox's in-house skincare brands previously known as Bonvivant. The team was tasked to overhaul the product line and position the brand for the U.S. market. Our job was to pinpoint our target audience, name all products to be more marketable for the U.S. consumer, develop a brand story, build a landing page that told the brand story (designed by Amanda Pike), design a logo mark, design a packaging system, and create content for press, web, social media and a retail display for Ulta Cosmetics.
The launch of the I Dew Care product line was so successful that Ulta Cosmetics couldn't keep the hero SKU Disco Kitten on the shelves, selling out three times in three weeks!
